About this pattern

A pug portrait built entirely from bold triangles, like a mosaic of jewel-toned fabric. Warm apricot, caramel, cream and burnt orange shape the face, with deep indigo, plum, mulberry and teal tucked into the wrinkles, ears and chest. Big glossy brown eyes with white catchlights look straight at you over the dark velvety muzzle, and the whole pug glows against a solid black ground. Every piece is a straight-edged triangle, so it is a satisfying, very cuttable modern project.

🌿 Thank you for supporting a small independent quilt-pattern studio. Happy stitching - there's always something bright and beautiful on the way at WildbloomQuilts. 🌸

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.

About how this was made: The initial design idea was developed with the help of AI tools. I then drew each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator and built the pattern myself: the templates, colour placement and sewing instructions. Some listing photos (mockups) were made with the help of AI for presentation purposes only. The pattern files you download are exactly as described in this listing.
