About this pattern
This joyful Pit Bull portrait captures a big grinning dog in a stunning geometric folk-art style, his face built from a mosaic of dark charcoal, slate grey, and deep black facets that give him incredible dimension and character. Warm brown eyes, a pale grey muzzle, a flash of cream on his chest, and a happy open mouth with a pink tongue make this pup utterly irresistible against a clean white background. Surrounding him is a generous wreath of soft dusty-pink daisy-like blooms with rich brown centres, paired with deep olive-green leaves and clusters of dark berry sprigs, giving the whole composition a warm, vintage-botanical feel. About how this was made: The initial design idea was developed with the help of AI tools. I then drew each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator and built the pattern myself: the templates, colour placement and sewing instructions.
