About this pattern
The coat is pieced in a mosaic of marigold, butterscotch, tangerine, rust and cream, with the breed's classic black saddle and charcoal muzzle, and soft salmon and cherry-red tones inside the tall ears. Behind the dog, rays of cobalt and midnight navy fan out like a sunburst, framing the portrait and making every warm colour glow. It is a bold, graphic piece that looks just as good on a wall as on the back of a sofa.

About how this was made: The initial design idea was developed with the help of AI tools. I then drew each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator and built the pattern myself: the templates, colour placement and sewing instructions.
