About this pattern

A jewel-bright hummingbird hovers beside three big coneflowers. His wings shimmer in sky blue, turquoise, periwinkle and violet, his throat flashes magenta, and his long beak reaches for the nearest bloom. The coneflowers open in hot pink, fuchsia, orchid and coral petals around tall honeycomb cones of marigold, orange and rust brown, with layered leaves in every green from lime to forest. A deep midnight-navy ground makes the colours glow, and the panel is finished with a rainbow patchwork border and diamond corner blocks.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.

About how this was made: The initial design idea was developed with the help of AI tools. I then drew each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator and built the pattern myself: the templates, colour placement and sewing instructions. Some listing photos (mockups) were made with the help of AI for presentation purposes only. The pattern files you download are exactly as described in this listing.
