TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This cheerful snowman stands front and centre against a bold patchwork background of richly coloured blocks in deep purple, warm orange, golden yellow, crimson red, slate blue, and creamy white, each patch fitting together like a vibrant folk-art mosaic. Four decorative snowflakes — two crisp white and two in steel blue — are nestled into the corner blocks, adding a wintry sparkle to the composition. The snowman himself is a delight of creamy white rounded shapes, topped with a smart black stovepipe hat and wrapped in a gloriously striped scarf of red, orange, gold, and purple, its fringed tail tumbling cheerfully downward. Three bold blue buttons march down his front, a bright carrot nose sits at the heart of his smiling face, and the whole scene radiates the warmth and joy of a hand-stitched Christmas celebration.
