Four irresistibly cheeky baby animals crowd the frame of this joyful folk-art quilt design, each one peeking in from a different corner as if jostling for your attention. A golden yellow giraffe dominates the centre with its cloud-shaped snout and wide-eyed gaze, while a rich chocolate-brown bear noses in from the bottom left, a sky-blue mouse peeks upside-down from the top right, pink ears and whiskers and all, and a cheerful green frog grins broadly from the bottom right with a flash of red and pink smile. The warm checkerboard background of sunny yellow and soft cream ties the whole scene together in a bright, playful palette that feels both retro and utterly modern. The two smallest sizes (18" and 24") are included for anyone who would like that option - a small wall hanging or a cushion front. Do note the pieces are a bit small at those sizes: many stitchers merge a couple of neighbouring pieces cut from the same fabric, or leave the tiniest accents out, and the design still reads beautifully.
