TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This enchanting cottage garden scene bursts with the full glory of a summer border in bloom, rendered in bold folk-art style against a bright cornflower-blue sky. A rustic wooden gate framed by a climbing rose arch draws the eye to the centre, while a winding stepping-stone path leads you through a riot of irises, peonies, black-eyed Susans, daisies, foxgloves, delphiniums, hydrangeas, coneflowers, and lilacs, all in rich jewel tones of purple, pink, gold, and blue. Perched on a cream stone birdbath beside the gate, a cheerful bluebird with a vivid orange breast adds a touch of life and whimsy to the scene. 🎨 SKILL LEVEL: Confident Intermediate to Advanced - this is a big, detailed scene, not a quick beginner make. The design is built from around 770 numbered applique pieces, so it rewards patience and a bit of experience with raw-edge fusible applique. It is worked in easy stages, one flower at a time, and the numbered layout keeps you oriented throughout.

📏 A NOTE ON SIZE: please choose your size with the piece count in mind. The larger you print, the larger and easier every piece is to cut and fuse - which is exactly why this pattern starts at 45" rather than a small wall panel.
