About this pattern

This charming pattern features four bold folk-art panels, each showcasing a mischievous black cat nestled among beloved houseplants — a terracotta pot bursting with red and pink blooms, a golden yellow planter holding spiky snake plant leaves, a trailing pothos spilling from a mustard hanging pot, and a lush tropical plant with sunny yellow flowers in a patterned wicker basket. The cream background of each panel lets the vivid oranges, greens, golds, and deep reds sing, while a rich burnt-orange and olive-green window frame ties the whole composition together with warmth and wit. ✏️ A NOTE ON THE FINE DETAIL: some of the detail in this design - the ridges around the terracotta pot, the weave of the wicker basket, the veins along the leaves - is drawn too finely to cut as its own piece of fabric, so it prints as thin lines inside a larger numbered shape. You cut the shape whole, fuse it down, and sew those lines on top as decorative stitching afterwards (they are optional). The Sewing Guide explains it step by step.
